1. Dark-wash denim flares. All I keep hearing is that this fall is all about the 70's, but I have yet to get this signature staple!

2. Leather skirt. I've been searching for the right leather skirt for ages! It's so easy to take this look into hot mess zone. I love the girly details in this one, and am obsessed with the pockets!

3. Tan riding pants. I love the pocket detailing and the color is so on-trend for fall! Most importantly, the stretchy material is perfect for those fat days we all know and love.

4. Color block dresses! Seriously, when I saw the Missoni dress on ABC's Revenge I kinda died. The sleeves, the back, the neutral colors - talk about the perfect day-to-night look. I'm also loving the demure sex-appeal of the Lulu's dress, what with its bustier top and sheer skirt. The skirt length is popping up more and more these days, and I'm loving the new take on this formerly frummy length!

What happened to the sunshine?

I woke up this morning thinking it was going to be as beautiful out as it has been this week, only to look out the window and witness the return of the SF-gloom. Saddddd! So much for that summer dress waiting to be worn :(. Pardon my shoddy camera skills!

My first post!

So, I finally did it. I've had this blog set up for weeks now but hadn't figured out how to get it started! It seemed like there was so much to do and it seemed so (irrationally) undoable for some reason! So this morning, I decided to uncomplicate things. I whipped out my trusty laptop, opened up the webcam program and let it snap away! You've got to start somewhere, right?
